Fashion Studies Minor


The Fashion Studies Minor allows students to pursue a primarily lecture-based overview of the fashion industry, including history, design, textiles and marketing.. The Minor is of interest to students not enrolled in the School of Fashion who wish to understand the various components of the fashion industry.

Required courses include a focus on both design and commercial aspects which explores the use of trend information and appropriate material selection for different segments of the fashion marketplace.

Exclusions: This minor is not available to students in the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Design (Fashion Communication)
  • Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design)
